A little rhythm for the room

Kaleh brings together brown mango wood and white veined marble in a substantial four-door sideboard. Its ribbed surface gives the wood a repeating rhythm, while the stone introduces a lighter note. The appeal is in that combination: a strong outline, warm material and enough detail to reward a closer look.

We would choose it for a room that needs an anchor. At two metres wide and 96 cm high, it has the scale to hold its own against a large wall, with closed storage that keeps the surrounding space visually calm.

How we would style it

Our first choice would be a dining room with pale walls, upholstered chairs and one expressive artwork above the sideboard. A colourful print or sculptural object could provide a playful contrast to the wood and marble. We would keep the arrangement on top deliberately spare so the ribbed front remains part of the composition.

In a living room, we would pair Kaleh with a softly curved armchair and a simple rug. Before choosing a mirror or artwork, mark out the sideboard’s full width and height on the wall: its proportions deserve more consideration than a photograph alone can give.

Storage with practical limits

Four doors and two fixed shelves provide enclosed storage. The specified maximum load is 5 kg per shelf, so consider what you want to put inside before choosing it for heavy books or tableware. Leave space in front for the doors to open comfortably.
