Glass with a golden centre

Koda pairs a rounded glass shade with a slender golden stem. Through the smoked amber glass, you can see a perforated central cylinder that gives the lamp an extra layer of detail. The curved outline and transparent surface make it an appealing focal point even before you switch it on.

The materials are smoked amber glass and gold-coloured iron. We like the way those warm tones sit together: there is a hint of Art Deco glamour, while the simple shape leaves plenty of room for other furniture and artwork to have their own character.

Where we would place it

We would consider Koda above a small dining table, where its 30 cm width could create a focused composition. In a bedroom, a pendant beside the bed could free up space on a bedside table. Both ideas depend on the room, the position of the electrical point and the final hanging height.

For the surrounding palette, we would choose warm wood, pale stone and soft cream upholstery. A deep green chair or a colourful artwork would bring a bolder accent. We would keep nearby metal finishes simple so the golden centre has space to stand out.

If you like a thread of continuity between rooms, explore the Koda Table Lamp too. We would use the two in separate areas, letting the shared glass and golden details connect the spaces.
