Nucka Table Lamp
A weighty stone column. A low golden canopy. Light with architectural poise.

Stone below, light above
Nucka balances a solid column of beige travertine beneath a broad, shallow shade in gold-coloured steel. The contrast is what gives it presence: natural stone feels grounded and tactile, while the hovering metal disc keeps the silhouette light and precise.
At 35 cm high and 40 cm wide, it has the proportions of a small architectural object rather than a conventional bedside lamp. The restrained palette lets the shape lead, so it can make a statement without adding visual clutter.
How we would style it
We would place Nucka on a long console or low sideboard where the wide shade has room to breathe. Against a warm white or softly textured wall, the travertine would feel calm and the steel would catch the changing light.
For contrast, we would set it beside dark timber, black lacquer or a richly coloured wall. A low stack of books or a single ceramic object would be enough company; taller accessories would compete with the canopy.
On a generous bedside table, we like it with quiet linen, pale upholstery and one darker accent elsewhere in the room. These are our styling suggestions—the best setting will depend on the surface, wall colour and surrounding pieces.
Plan for the canopy
The shade measures 40 cm across while the stone base is 9 cm wide. Measure the full footprint before choosing a surface, and leave clear space around the shade. The lamp weighs 3.5 kg and has a 180 cm cable, with the switch positioned 55 cm from the lamp.
