Sculptural lighting
Alaia Floor Lamp
Burgundy glass. Golden lines. A lamp with the presence of jewellery.

Light, composed like a bouquet
Alaia gathers twelve ribbed burgundy glass globes into a rounded, almost floral composition. Slim gold-toned iron stems hold the cluster above a simple circular base, giving the lamp height and drama without making the room feel heavy.
At 168 cm tall, it reads as both lighting and sculpture. The deep wine colour gives the glass richness when switched off; illuminated, the repeated globes create a softer, more atmospheric glow.
How we would style it
We would give Alaia its own corner beside a curved sofa, a low console or a generous armchair. Cream upholstery, dark timber and touches of brass would make the burgundy feel sophisticated rather than theatrical.
For a bolder room, we would echo the colour once—in a cushion, artwork or lacquered object—and stop there. Against pale plaster or warm stone, the outline remains beautifully clear.
These are our styling suggestions. Because the glass cluster is the focal point, we would keep the furniture immediately around it fairly quiet.
Plan its position
The lamp measures 66 cm across and 168 cm high. Allow enough space around the glass shades and place it where the rounded silhouette can be seen from the room, rather than squeezed into a narrow passage.
