Colour with a little attitude

This gorilla takes a familiar animal form and gives it an unexpected finish. Multicoloured paint-drip decoration runs across a white surface, turning the figure into a lively focal point.

Made from resin, the sculpture measures 29.5 × 28 × 45 cm. Its crouching pose and strong outline give it a presence that is easy to notice without needing a whole wall or a large floor area.

Our styling take

We would give it a place on a substantial console, a sideboard or a broad shelf, with enough clear space around it to enjoy the shape and colours. A pale wall or dark wooden surface would make an interesting backdrop.

For us, the most appealing combination is one playful object alongside furniture with quieter lines. We would pair it with simple upholstery and keep nearby accessories restrained, rather than competing with it for attention.

One colourful piece, several possibilities

We can imagine it in an entrance, a living room or a creative workspace: somewhere its character feels welcome. Pick out one colour from the decoration in a cushion or artwork if you want to connect it with the rest of the room.

Before choosing a spot, check the available surface against the dimensions and leave room for everyday use. We would place it where it is easy to see and unlikely to be knocked as people pass.
